ES or Prothane Motor Mounts?

I know there are a lot of threads about poly mounts... but there don't seem to be any in particular about Energy Suspension motor mounts. Everyone seems to go with Prothane for motor mounts.

My LT headers are resting on the K-member, and I'm sick of the noise/vibration, so I want to fix it with some new poly mounts.

A local parts store has ES poly motor mounts for 40 CAD each and I could have them right away. Or I could go with Prothane, but I would have to wait and pay for shipping etc.

Also, I'm thinking of replacing my trans mount. I was thinking LS1?

I don't want to deal with dramatic increase in vibration... but I'll take a little more vibrations from the mounts over the vibrations of the header on the K-member. Any idea is Prothane is softer than Energy Suspension?

Also, is it possible that just replacing the trans mount could raise the headers up off the k-member?

Thanks

Can't go wrong with either brand. I would replace the tranny mount as well with a poly piece. From what I have heard, when you keep both the motor mounts and the tranny mount the same material (poly), you will have less vibrations.
