Easy transmission ? inside.
I have a transmission (4L60 for the 93) on the way.
What type of fluid do you guys recommend?
And is there any Fluid Additives that you suggest?

How are you going to control the 4L60E in your application? The 1993 model fbodies came with the 700R4 trans that was not computer controlled. The 4L60 that came in 94+ fbodies is computer controlled and as far as I know must have the computer to tell it when to shift. Anyway if you've already taken care of that pay no attention to me rambling on!
As for fluid, I tried mobil 1 but the trans didn't seem to like it. It banged the rev limiter before shifting on the 2-3 sometimes. Switched to valvoline maxxlife which seems thicker and have had excellent results. Don't think there are any trans additives out there that I would recommend.

Yes I know that the 93 wasn't electronic.
The 93 Transmission, was not Electronic, and didn't carry the E designation. It was named as 4L60, even though it is essentially a 700R4.

GM Motorsports Technology Group engineer Mark McPhail put together this appealing package that's based on the 4L60 transmission ("3FFM" code) installed in ’93 Camaro Z28s.
