driveshaft u joint conversion

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I am putting a gear vendor in my 72 chevelle. I have the gear vendor yoke. I have an aluminum driveshaft from a 2000 ls1 car. I also have a ford nine in the chevelle. Here is my ? which u joint will go in the front to mate the gear vendor yoke with the ls1 driveshaft and which one will go in the back that will mate the ls1 driveshaft and the ford yoke I am not sure if it is a small or large rearend yoke.

U joints cant adapt sizes. I'm sure the LS1 shaft has the same joints on both ends.

Call gear venders and ask them what size the yoke is.

Yes, there are "conversion" u-joints. Its possible to mate a 1320 with a 1350, etc. You need to find the "size" of the Gear Vendor output yoke, and then convert it to the "size" of the LS1 DS yoke.
