Drive shaft vibration

Hey guys
Just finished pressing in new u joints on my 93 Z28. Marked the shaft and flange before removing so I know its on the same way I took it off. I am right now suspecting that the part store gave me the wrong u joints which leads me to my question...I have noticed that the yoke in the rear does not fully fill up all the space in the flange( where it mounts) thier is probaly an 1/8 of space between the yoke and the edge of the mounting flange...Is this normal?...In other words should the yoke mounting brackets fully cover each end cap of the yoke...mine do not, no matter how I try to space it. Which leads me to believe that they sold me the wrong u joints...Any inputs?

Is it normal for the drive shaft to go out of balance after a U joint change?
