Drive Shaft doesnt want to come off!

Hello,
I am trying to replace my U-joints therefor, I need to take the drive shaft out. Now I have the 4 bolts and the U-joint retainers off. I tried using a small pry bar and that didn't work. I also tried a hammer and screwdriver hitting the u-joint wish didn't work. So the drive shaft is stuck on the car. The car is a 92 camaro RS with a steel drive shaft.

Thank you for the time.

Get a longer pry bar, at least breaker bar length and push harder. After it falls off and hits you in the head pull the other end from the trans. Then take it to a drive shaft place and have them do the U-Joints. These things are a real PITA, plus they can rebalance it for you.

Make sure to push the driveshaft as far into the tranny as possibly.
