drill mod question

I did the drill mod to my new '01+ clutch master cylinder tonight. When I put it all back together and was bench bleeding it I noticed that the braided line was leaking fluid from right where I did the drill mod. I guess the drill bit must have got cocked sideways or something during drilling. No suprise my typical luck.

Anyway my question is can I switch the braided line with the one that is in my car? It is a '00 and older style and I did the drill mod to it with no problems. Is there any differences in the braided lines from the '98-'00 vs. the '01+ clutch master cyliders?
