Does anyone have a gear install guide?

I am getting ready to install some 3.73's tomorrow since today the stock ones let go. Does anyone have a good install guide for this they would recommend? I have already assembled all the parts and tools that I was suggested to get. I just need a nice install guide to go from. Thanks in advance.

If you haven't installed gears and set gear backlash previously, this might not be a home project for you as it can be tricky.

I DO NOT recomend you doing this at home with out the proper tools to set the pitchline back lash and pinion depth.

Re: Does anyone have a gear install guide?

I have to agree with others. Back when I had my ten-bolt, I spend almost as much as I spent on my Strange loaded 12-Bolt as I did on 3 sets of gears with different shops and people doing the installs and was not able to play for an entire summer. If you are going to swap them, have a reputable shop do them whom is familiar with the 7.5" 10-bolt in our cars, they are hard to get exactly perfect.
