differential pinion shaft - removal tricks? need help quickly please

I'm in the process of removing the axles so I can replace the axle bearings but I cannot get the differential pinion shaft out...I have removed the pinion shaft lock bolt, but the shaft will not budge...

any ideas on getting this out?

...this is the pinion shaft that runs through the center of the spider gears in the differential...

TIA!!!!
