Difference in Rearend from LT1 to LS1

Difference in Rearend from LT1 to LS1

Recently screwed up the rearend in my 95 z28... i found a new one but it was out of a 98 z28... are they compatibe?

if you had traction control then yes, also you need LS1 rear brakes, LS1 style brakes are much better even in the back, they use a drum brake for E-brake, so you have to change the E-brake cable aswell.

thanks... yea my car had traction control and i believe the rearend had the brakes and everything with it so i shouldnt have a problem

LS1's had a torsen differential thats better than an LT1 auburn
