My car is a 95 with a busted trans, well I found a trans from a 2001 ss and was wondering what would need to be done if anything to do the swap?

The front cover is different. The LS1 has a conventional "pusher" type clutch. The hydraulic slave cylinder mounts to the front cover plate of the T56, concentric with the input shaft. The LT1 uses the "pullback" style clutch, with the slave cylinder mounted on the bell housing. The front cover has a tapped hole for the fork pivot ball. I believe the LS1 T56 input shaft is also longer.
