i could have swore at some point i read that with a high perf. axle option the 4th T56 cars could get a 3.73 rear end setup.

then how does slp sell 3.73 take off's, also found a website with pics of a guy who blew his stock 3.73 rear end on a 4th gen. thats even the title of the site.

 

He might mean stock 10 bolt, but not stock gears. The take off gears might be a take off of something else, but not 4th gen. 4th gens had 2.73, 3.23, and 3.42 gears. About the site, don't believe everything you read.

 

OK... let's explain this one more time..... No 4th Gen F-Body left the factory with 3.73 gears.

With regard to "blew his stock 3.73 rear end".... you appear to have some sort of reading deficit disorder...... The topic of his post is "Busted my 3.73 factory 10 bolt". He broke the 3.73 gears he put in his factory 10 bolt. He did not say he broke his factory 3.73's
