decisions decisions, 2800-3200 stall
yo guys, first post up here so try to bear w/ me. i have a 95 z28 A4, (mods listed below) n im lookin to put either a vig.2800 or 3200 stall in it. it is not my everyday driver, n emissions, gas mileage dont really care about. Now its got mainly bolt ons, but eventually looking to do LE2 heads/cam like a year or so down the road. so would a 3200 b too much stall for the car at the moment, or would a 2800 work well even w/ the heads/cam later.
95 z28.

Re: decisions decisions, 2800-3200 stall
We have 10.5", 3200 stall converters behind quite a few "bolt-on" cars that seem to work very well. I had a 3200 stall behind my personal stock LT1, in my '93 Z. The car went 12.82 @ 106 MPH with no engine mods...Just a stall, transmission, a set of 4.10's, and good tires.

i really leaning toward the 3200 right now. Weird thing is ive been told by local tranny n certain speed shops 3200 is WAY too much stall. So a 3200 will work well n drive decent in a bolt on lt1
