I understand that LS1 and LT1 cross members are different. I also know that the M6 differs from the A4 cross memeber. Do both the LT1 and LS1 versions of the A4 crossmembers put the tranny mount in the same location relative to the rest of the car they are in? What I mean is if you took an A4 out of an LS1 used the correct bellhousing and used an A4 crossmember for your LT1 car, would it put everything in the correct place?

Another way of putting it.. Even though the A4 crossmember for an LT1 and LS1 car are different shaped, do they put the tranny mount in the same location in the trans tunnel?
