Found out from the trans place that mine is shot big time. They told me best route is to buy a remanufactured one, they could get a t56 w/ like 2 year 50,000 warranty or something for $2500 out the door.

What is the price for one of these? And any places online to buy them?

 

Try the gear box on ebay. I got a reman w/lots of upgraded parts for $1400

I think thats a different dude. I believe the gearbox uses "The Gearbox" as his seller name.
I'll second the gearbox as well. They've treated a couple friends of mine very well on a bunch of parts.

 

Anyone have a link to an auction of his or his store? Im just trying to find out what other items he is selling and if he has any t56's.

Thats not the same place that I got mine, but it looks like a good deal. The one that I got has billet steel 3-4,5-6 shift forks, carbon kevlar blocker rings, and new 1-2,3-4,5-6 syncronizers. Try to email him thegearboxii@aol.com His name is Kevin
