LOL...Kevin had a little misadventure with not getting his converter all the way in, and destroying the pump.
What I thought was going to be a simple pump swap, turned into a 3 hour ordeal trying to get his brand new converter out of his broken pump. Atleast I found out that a 4L60E pump WILL come out of a transmission with the converter still in it...Albeit with the drums also, because the lock-up o-ring on the input shaft won't won't go through the pump stator. It was about the most unique way I've ever took one apart.
Let this be a lesson to everyone...Make sure your converter is all the way in!
Kevin, You just wanted to come up to play with my dog again, didn't you?

Yes I felt that breaking my tranny was the only way I could do that.....
,I got the tranny in but haven't bolted everything else up yet. Hopefully when I get back from the beach on Sun I will have it running. Hopefully it actually has all the gears this time.......
