Converter that's the most fun to drive

I go to the track once or twice a year. It is not my primary vehicle. I need to know what stall should I get if I want to have the most fun. I was thinking either a 2800 or 3200 vigilante.

Re: Converter that's the most fun to drive

Since you say it isn't a daily driver I would normally say go with the 3200, but since you are not planning on going to the track a lot then I might say just go with the 2800.. Since you really won't be needing the full advantages of the higher stall plus you get a little better drivability. Any higher stall will wake up the tranny, but you need to know your goals before making that choice, not just seeing what would be more fun! Besides what is fun to me may be different to what you might find fun.

I enjoy my 3500 stall, but you might not and definitly would be wasting money on it if you only go to the track once or twice a year!

I have a Midwest 3000 and I think it is pretty fun to drive around with.
