Connecting tranny cooler lines with T-56?

I was just wondering if i still haveto have the transmission cooler lines connected into the radiator? If i don't put anything in the radiator where the transmission cooler lines go will it affect anything? Or plug it? Also is their any way to modify the VSS on my auto wireing harness to work on the T-56 without buying the pigtail? Like cutting the wires and hooking them up to the VSS on the T-56, would that work?

The T-56 (and any other manual I'm aware of) doesn't use a tranny cooler, because it doesn't have a pump, so there is no fluid flow. When I swapped I just cut them near the radiator.

And yes you can just hook up the VSS wires to the VSS sensor on the T-56. I soldered mine on and used some rtv to seal it, been working fine since. You will need tuning though or your speedo will be way off.

Tranny fluid from your auto flowed through those lines, not coolant, so you don't need to plug the lines. Some tranny fluid (left over) may drool out of the holes.
