Is their someone who tried this or actually completed this? i´ve found i thread about this on camaro third gen forum but that thread died out unfortunaly.

 

Anything can be done with enough money and time, but the big challenge will be installing the C5's independent rear suspension with the trans/axle assembly mounted to your chassis. Then there's the issue of the torque tube that connects the engine to the trans.

I've seen the C4 IRS + differential (no transmission) done to a 4th Gen, and the back end of a 3rd Gen is very similar. But I don't recall seeing the complete trans/axle grafted on to an F-Body. I've seen someone post pictures here, many years ago of the C4 IRS + differential. Might want to try a search.
