I'm glad I'm not the only one with the disengagment issues with the Mcleod 7,500 pad.

I've had it in for 3,000 miles or so and its been a pain in the a$$. I replaced all my hydos' because of it and bleed the system more times then I care to mention.
It got better as the miles rack up on it but it still gets hung up and is hard to **** into gear at highter RPMs.

Its has probally 100 or so passes on it with Nittos and a ton of street abuse and it never has sliped once.

Guys,
Im just replacing my 305 tpi/700R4(1985 3rd gen) with a ZZ4 with hotcam and complete HSR system.Horsepower roughly 400 bhp.
I have bought a McLoed 11" clutch for it,but i dont think its really heavy duty just a better replacement than standard. After reading loads of postings im not so sure it'll handle the power.I wont be racing the car, just high speed touring with the occasional track day.
What do you think
