clutch will not press down

replaced the clutch assembley (spec 2), clutch forck, t-stud and bolt, old friction disc broke around the dampening springs, installed the trans and the clutch pedal will pump up about 2-3 times and stay at the top won't budge. I'm thinking maybe the clutch master cylinder?.. it just keeps pushing on the fork and never springs back, it pushed so much it poped the clip off the throwout bearing off and now I get to pull the trans again.

fixed it, the fork was not completely on the throwout bearing, it felt solid when I installed it, o well.
