Clutch or Transmission Problems

I have a 94 Z28 six speed manual. Today, I noticed when I accelerate in 4th or a higher gear my motor revs first and then I accelerate. The clutch I have in the car is a McCleod double disc.

I noticed the clutch does not engage the transmission until the pedal is way on top.

Is my clutch slipping or do I have transmission problems.

Help!

Clutch is heading south on you. Start looking for a new clutch.

yea, sounds like your clutch going out on you. How long have you had it in there?. Im sure if you call Mcleod they should give you a good deal on a replacement.
