clutch slipping slightly, due to cold weather?

howdy all,

ok, my car, which has 70k kms on it has a slight, and i mean slight slipping clutch, when i absolutely gun it in 1st or 2nd, and only when its just started up (its freezing here right now, and this is not normal, it normally never actually goes below the freezing level here)

once the car heated up, i tried gunning it, and i think there was no slipping (hard to really tell, as my tires would spin a lot... but it seems fine)

also, when 1st started up, i gun it in 3rd and 4th, and no slipping...

so my question, is this just a bit whacky 'cuz of the weird for here cold spell, or is there gonna be a problem soon

p.s. my car has had many short trips (like <2 mins each, going to and from work) recently... just as an FYI

thanks for any help
ian
