clutch slipping

ive got a spec stage III i (the "i" means the pads are sintered iron) disc...and it just started slipping because of a leaking rear main seal, i called spec and they said to send it to them so they can look at it, but i just want other people opinions before i take my car out of commission for a week...because its iron, can i just clean the oil off with brake cleaner or something like that? or is it trash now like a normal clutch would be if it got oil on it? thanks,
Will
