Which Clutch to Purchase?

Yo

Well, people are telling me the clutch that is currently in the i'm about to be purchasing isn't the best clutch... The Ram Clutch or some crap like that.

Now, when I get this car, since the clutch sucks... which clutch should I be getting? I won't be racing my car that much, but don't get me wrong... I will... haha Actually scratch that. L0L

I need a clutch that can handle racing and everyday driving. Long distance and city. Don't really worry about the money part of it, unless the clutch is like 1000$ or some crap like that. But I will get a clutch up to 700-800$ without installation charges.

Thanks in advance

Chris

Chris,

If I were in your shoes, I would beat the hell out of that ram clutch, learn to drive an LT1. AND THEN, get a star spec stage 1 or 2 clutch :-D

Yo

That sounds good to me... L0L

The Star Spec 2 sounds good to me because my friend had the star spec 2 but only got rid of it because he's getting a Star Spec 3. L0L

But how much does that usually go for all together? Installation included. Are they really that good?

hahaha, thats pretty sick... but whats your rearwheel horsepower? Probably a lot more than my car would have. So that kind of helps... doesn't it?

You dont want to much clutch for your power either. If it engages to hard it will bog your engine and hurt times or launch. What mods do you have? If its a stock car id go with the lt4 preasure plate and a stock disk. Im gonna run the lt4 PP and a mcleod single disk, and i have the mods below.

my opion,
Zach
