Clutch problem HELP!!!!!!

Clutch problem HELP!!!!!!

I was getting on the highway today so i did a down shift to 2nd from 3rd and boom! Clutch goes all the way to the floor and never returns looks like a broken slave? Any body go through this before? What needs to be done, price estimates?

Happened to me last year. Ended up being a broken T/O bearing. Cost me $00 for a new clutch set and $450 for the install. If it is just the slave cylinder, around $50-$60 for a new one and eay to install yourself.

Could be a broken clutch fork, which can take out the slave too. I broke one several years ago. If you have a clutch that chatters, like the POS Ram HD I had for a few months, its likely a contribuitng factor.
