clutch pedal not coming all the way back up

Yesterday when I was driving my clucth pedal started not coming all the way back to the top after I pushed it in to change gears. Could this be the slave cylinder or is my clutch getting ready to go or is it both?

I've got a '99 Z28 now, I need to change my signature.

Check the fluid level for your clutch hydraulics.

It's full but it's pure black. I'm sure I'm gonna have to at least replace the slave cylinder here soon and I'll probably do the clutch at the same time, but is there any kinda temporary fix I can do to make it last til I get the money for the parts?

I'm gonna be able to afford one or the other, the slave cylinder or the master cylinder assembly. I'm just wondering which is most likely the culprit of the problem. I'm gonna eventually replace everything including the clucth but I wanna fix the problem with the pedal pressure now if I can.
