4th gen clutch releasing high

Anyone else's 6 speed's clutch release high? My 95 and my Dad's 94 both release way higher off the floor than the 84 Z.

Or is this GM's answer to preserverving their 5 and dime rear with this clutch setup? Thanks in advanced

It may be at the end of its life. Its a self adjusting clutch, so I dont think you can do anything in that aspect. I remember that mine was grabbing high right before I changed it out for a new stocker.
