Clutch pedal keeps getting softer and softer, but no slippage

Clutch pedal keeps getting softer and softer, but no slippage

What would that be, pressure plate going bad? Master? Slave?

help please.

Try bleeding your slave/master cylinder for your clutch. If that doesnt help at all my guess would probly be your pressure plate is getting worn and losing tension.

yea but if the pressure plate was getting weak wouldnt it slip pretty noticeably?

i think im going to pull the hydrualics and take a look at them.

help anyone?

it doesnt slip like it would be if the pressure plate was weak, but its not losing fluid.

and the pedal is getting softer the more i drive it.

You might be sucking air into your hydraulics. Check the reservoir cap first. Then bleed it. After that you might have to remove the hydraulics and closely inspect the lines and connections for any leaks.

im going to replace the slave friday, because it seems to be leaking just a little bit into the bell housing.
