clutch master/slave

my clutch has been acting up lately, and its getting worse to where even if i'm stopped for no more than ten seconds with the clutch to the floor i lose pressure. so i'm going to swap out master and slave since i have a spare. now my question is, since lack of help, can i put fluid in the new master/slave and bleed it before i put it into the car? thanks in advance

If you buy the whole assembly it should come pre-bled. GM part number is 12559912.
