clutch kit <$500

My spec stage II finally took a dump yesterday, I was in 4th gear went to pass a guy in front of me and dropped it to third and went on around him. After that the clutch was engaged all the time, checked everything and pulled the tranny and the clutch, on of the damper springs shot out on the friction disc. It has been in there at least 80-90k maybe more so I can't complain. The lining looked almost new and the flywheel looks great. The clutch never slipped once. I will probably order the same kit unless you guys have any recommendations for the same application. Anything $500 or less, and the best place to get it. thanks

another spec 2 on order, it looks like from the picture the friction disc facing has changed but still made of kevlar, I will find out in a few days. The one I installed years ago was the yellow painted set now seems they are blue. Hope they are as good or better. Sounds like the pressure plate is similar on a lot of clutch sets (valeo). I ordered it from Speed Engineering which is a sponsor of this sight so hopefully they will be good to deal with. They had it for $399 which is the best I found, but shipping was like $40 so its all about the same in the end.

I had a Spec 2 just crap out on me after less than 3,000 miles. A lot of members over at LS1Tech are having the same problem.
