yea, when you don't have the right tools for the job it takes a little longer, i did not have a transmission jack and thats what kicked my @$$, i just used nylon tie-down straps bolted to the trany mount bolts and across the frame rails in the front to hold the trany up as i jacked it up with my puny 2 ton floor jack, just geting the transmission off the floor and onto the bellhousing took me 2 hours. When i was installing the bellhousing i also broke the last bolt off when i was torqueing it down so i had to take that off and i was lucky it was sticking out of the block about 3/8" so i could get it out, but by that time stores were closed and i hat to wait till morning to get a new bolt. I also had to wait about 3 hours to get my flywheel resurfaced, so you could say it was a clutch install from hell
