Clutch fork problems, can I get some help?

had the tranny off, and I just pulled the clutch fork off the T/O bearing, I tried to just shove it back on when I put the tranny on but it kept sliding back down towards the outside, it pivots fine when it's pushed forward and its on the T/O bearing and I got it together and got it to stay on the bearing, but it seems that it popped off the T/O bearing again now that it's all together. Any suggestions on why it's sliding off so easy and how I can get it to stay pushed up on the T/O bearing?

This is the fourth time I've had it off and I've always had problems with the clutch fork, I've always eventually gotten it back together and it to stay on, but I would like to understand how and what is going on so I can jus tdo it right the first time in the future, any help is appreciated

There is a spring clip that holds the fork on the "t-post/pivot" on the front of the tranny cover. Is the spring clip intact, or is it possibly stretched or broken? It would seem that once you get the fork spring correctly on the pivot, it would stay there.

yeah the spring clip is still ok, maybe it needs to go under the nut and that's the problem?
