Question Clutch & Flywheels?

Hey guys,

Im going to need a clutch replacement soon and I was hoping for some advice on how i should go about this. Should i buy my own parts and have them installed or should i just use shop parts, if so what brand/website. Im on some what of a budget and im looking to get the most for my money. Im also looking to get my throw out baring replaced (Again Brand/website). Im not too savvy about Flywheels, any tell-tale signs i could feel/hear that consitutes getting a replacement? My local mechanic said it would be about 700$ To get clutch/Throw out baring, and a flywheel refab. Im trying to avoid this at all costs. My main focus is the clutch and throw out. Any help is appriciated.

Thanks!
