Clutch feels spongy?

Lately the clutch has felt spongy and the shifts have become harder. Reverse is especially harder. When I'm cruising and bring the revs up just alittle the shifts get easier.
I checked fluid levels and they are full in both Slave and Master. I looked for any thing leaking and did no see any brake/clutch fluid leaking. I haven't jacked the car up yet to look at it more.. I wanted to get some opinions and advice on what to look for before I dive in. I've ordered a new slave cylinder... I will also bleed the slave to see if thats it.
Any advice or things to look for ??

yeah the clutch is definitely not disengaging all the way. In first gear with the clutch fully in the car creeps forward at maybe 1mph. Reverse sometimes will not go into gear and if it does it grinds. But not all the time. Sometimes is goes into gear and its hard while sometimes it grinds or doesnt go in at all. All shifts are harder.

So the clutch isn't disengaging... now i have to see why..

Brake feel is fine... I have no loss in brake pressure/power.

The clutch is spongy 1/2 way depressed. Once i get passed half way it firms up..

I had the exact same problem about 3 months ago. Mine turned out to be a bad clutch master cylinder. I found the leak where the rod goes into the cylinder from the clutch pedal. Was not too big of a job to change it out. Have you noticed any fluid loss at all in the clutch fluid reservoir?

No I haven't noticed any fluid loss but the fluid looked dirty and it use to be clean looking since I had changed it less than 1000 miles ago.

Yeah ill look at the rod to see if any is seeping past it.
