Thumbs up Clutch and brake pedal

Hi,

Can anyone please tell me what the switches are on the clutch and brake pedal and there placement. I am converting a third gen to a 6 speed and need to move the existing brake switch and cruise. Any help will be appreciated.

Re: Clutch and brake pedal

It has been a while since I looked at mine but I belive this is correct.

Large rectangular switch to the left of the clutch pedal that is pressed when the clutch is depressed is the starter saftey switch.

The two white switches one on the clutch and one on the brake are for the cruise control. These are connected in series with a Y harness to a single connector in the wiring harness. I think most people doing a conversion don't use the one on the clutch because they don't have the Y harness.

The other switch that has two connections is the brake light switch. You only use one of the connections for a manual transmission. The other connection is for the torque converter clutch on an automatic.
