I am hearing a heavy clicking noise out of the rear end that arises on occassion when I veer to the left. Sometime it will show up when I am slowing down coming to a stop sign. It seems to be getting worse.

I believe it is in the differential, but not sure what it could be. There is only 18,000 miles on the car.

Any idea what I should check, or what this may be?
