Chosing gears. Motive or Richmond?
Chosing gears. Motive or Richmond?
Lookin to get some 3.73's. I'm tryin to figure out if I should go with Richmond or Motive? I have heard that Richmond are noisy. Doesn't really bother me that much. Fast cars arn't gonna be quiet anyway, lol. With the Motives, are the regular Motive gears fine compared to the Motive Performance gear? Whats the difference? Worth the extra $25? I can get the Richmonds for $180, regular Motives for $160, an I havn't gotten a price on Motive Performance gears yet. I am guessing I could get em for about $185. All of the prices are shipped.
Re: Chosing gears. Motive or Richmond?
Get the Motives, hands down. Unless we were talking gear replacement on a 12-bolt, I'd say go with Richmond. But for a 10-bolt, it won't make any difference which one you use. Motive will be nice and quiet. Richmond, you're basically paying an extra 20 bucks to add noise.
