Cheap re-stalled converter. Any gains??

I have a re-stalled stocker in the car right now. I went with this because it was very inexpensive and I figured it would be better then no stall at all. My question is. Is this re-stalled converter much better then the stock one? I eventually will be upgrading and just wanted to see how much of a gain I could see if I went with something like a Fuddle 3200 or something along those lines. Please dont flame me for having one of these. I know they are cheap and I am not proud of having it. Just interested to see how much they really suck. Thanks. Dustin.
