Question Chattering from new clutch?

Can someone please explain to me how the chattering from a newly installed clutch sounds like. Also, if the clutch is chattering, how long does it take until it stops? Lastly, when breaking in the new clutch, should I not go over a certain speed or RPM? Any help would greatly be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

It is like your tranny is trying to wiggle its way out of the car : ) Denpending on the clutch it may never go away entirely. It is because the clutch does not want to slip so it catches and slips then catches again (thats just what I know from common sense I'm no clutch expert)

Just drive it normal, normal being like the average Mom would drive with her kids in the car, getting the gas mileage the car is supposed to

Depending on the clutch it should lessen at around 400-500 miles but usually will not go away entirely you learn to drive around it. Only time I have a problem with the Spec III is on inlinces going slow. Like a drivethough on an incline is a real PITA!!!

Hope that helps....
