I know many Porsche owners that didnt like them at all.

I know for me personally, I would only look at Star Spec 3.

Well...after having a Spec 3 once, I'll never put it back in the car. It holds like a *****, but everything else associated w/that clutch just isn't worth it for what they are charging for them now. A year ago, I bought mine for $515 with a flywheel shipped to my door. They want $685 now plus shipping...not gonna happen.

I ordered the Centerforce about 2 hours ago. I hope it works out well, but damn near anything will be better than the Spec in everyday driving.

i have one in a 99 ss. as long as you follow the break in instructions you should have no worries. you might want to get a new upgraded hydraulics. i believe the ls6 style. Mine hooks up real good. break it in proper and should have miles of enjoyment.

My car is an '01 so it already has the upgraded hydraulics.

Of course I'm gonna follow the break in period, it was the longest 500 miles of my life w/my old clutch.

It should be here today, and it'll be going in this weekend. Can't wait to start putting some miles on it.

Your going to need an adjustable master to get it to release right.

I just put one in my LS1 . I had one in my LT1 . I love the both of them . You will have to get a new slave cylinder , Or your clutch may get to the point it will not engage at all .
