Question Car won't downshift into 1st

OK, so here's the problem.

My car is a 95 Z28 A4 (FLP Level 4 4L60E w/3200 Vigilante)...I had the OBD1 High Stall Shift problem, so I had the trans tables messed with by a tuner in my area that I don't have contact info for anymore.

Ever since then when I get on it after my car has shifted into 2nd it will not go back to 1st. Even if I punch it from a 15-20 mph roll it will just stay in 2nd. It goes back into 1st after I come to a stop, but that is it. The car shifts great and has no problem going from 3rd or 4th down to 2nd...just won't downshift into 1st.

Can I fix this with more tuning or am I looking at a tranny issue?

Let me know what you think.

Thanks,
Eric

Unfortunately I don't have any software to scan or program the car yet. I want to pick some up in the next couple weeks, but I agree that it is probably in the program the more I look into it.

I will either send it to you when I get the stuff to do it, or I may just take it to a local tuner...MadZ28 is only about 10 minutes from me.

Thanks,
Eric
