I heard that a 12 bolt out of a Caprice cop car might fit in an 4th gen F-body. Any truth to that? I'm guessing no since everyone would be doing it.

Yeah, they should have an 8.5 10 bolt, and it doesn't work on an f-body due to different suspension setups.

 

I was told that the cop car package had the upgraded 12 bolt. Same for the Impala SS cars of the 90's. I figured I would put the question out to all of you. Well, it was a good thought for a second! I guess Moser might be getting my buisness next year....
