I recently purchased a 95 Z28 and have a question concerning the convertor.I am buying a few parts as money permits and the next is a performance convertor,but a friend drove the car last night and says he thinks it has a higher stall than stock,how do I know?

 

Pull the torque converter cover off and see what color it is. My 96 had a gold converter in it, I think all 4th gen are the same.
