With 360 RWHP, you'll probably be in need of a good rebuild. Something built to take the extra abuse.

Definitly the A4's in the 4th gens are only rated at like 300 lbs torque.

When my friend did a mild heads/cam package on his LS1, it didn't take much time for him to start trashing factory trannies and rears.

im jinxing myself by posting this, so i better bring a trailer now to maple grove raceway for the pinks meet.

i have dyno'ed 420rwhp on a stock tc and aftermarket 3.73's in a stock 10 bolt. my tranny is fine. i promise frank the work when i do blow it up but for now i dont need it yet. might be a differant story when i put a higher stall tc in. and yes, thats on bfg dr's.

A good torque converter, such as a Vigilante will give you the most in a performance increase, and is much easier on the geartrain, due to its lighter weight, and is only going to help all around. Depending on how you drive will determine what stall to go with. Second would be a rear end gear ratio change. You mention going to 3.23's, what rear end gear ratio do you have now? This transmission has low miles and if you are not experiencing any shifting problems, and the fluid is in good shape, it should hold for awhile.
