Can splines be fixed?

Can splines be fixed?

The splines are so mildly bent that you probably cant even tell in the pic, but when you slide the DS on, it gets stuck. Now can these be fixed by some tool?

If it has started to twist then it should be relaced. It's already weakened.

I agree with AL you have stressed the metal.The output shaft is probibly hardened which makes it brittle when stressed.It probibly has tiny cracks at the base of the spline that you can't see.
