Hi, im buying a used set of 3.42's and i currently have 2.73's, i guess 3.42s from a 3 series carrier and i have a 2 series? what im wondering is can i make them work if i get a spacer or something? i dont know a whole lot about gears but if someone could tell me what is needed to make it work i would appreciate it, thanks!

 

Yes, you'll need a ring gear spacer. Or you could get a 3 series Zexel posi pretty cheap, I think someone said SLP sells New Take offs for like $100!..
