Can anyone identify these gears??

They are supposed to be 4:10s', but im trying to identify the brand..The ring and pinion both have 37x9 (4.11's or 4.10's, whatever, it's the amount of teeth on each one) and they have the number 2212/01. I don't see any other markings other than them.

Does any install kit work no matter what ratio/brand gear you go with??

Looks like a tongue & groove(s). Can't ident the gears...maybe a part # off of them would help.

Re: Can anyone identify these gears??

37/9=4:11 ratio and the other numbers look like Mfg's date code. Brand name should also be stamped on the ring gear. And the install kit has NO relationship to what ratio is installed.

Where would the brand name usually be stamped, i actually dont have these gears in possession yet, cause my friend still has them.
So you guys think the 37/9 cut will be a little stronger than acutal 4:10 gears, because ive been reading the 4:11 is a bit stronger to an extent

Re: Can anyone identify these gears??

Motive is the only company I know of that supplies the 37/9 for the 10 bolt. There should be some sort of information about them on the pinion shaft.

Re: Can anyone identify these gears??

Richmonds have had the reputation of being noisy in the last few years. Odd number pinion tooth count is what makes them slightly than even number pinion tooth count. I will look into this tomorrow, to see if I can find who made these.
