caliper/rotor alignment (moser 9")

I've got the moser all bolted in and ready to go. I threw the rotors on and bolted the calipers up, and noticed a small problem. The calipers are out about 1/8" too far and the rotors are hitting the inner guard on the caliper.

I was looking for a set of 1/8" wheel spacers to put between the axles and rotors, but it looks like 7/32" is as thin as they come. I think that might be too thick and put the rotors out too far, hitting the other side of the caliper.

What's my best option? Have a set of 1/8" spacers custom made or grind a little off the brake backing plate? Any other options I might be missing?

Thanks

What year is your car? did you put the 1/8" washer in between the flange and the wheel bearing?

Mine was too thick.. Thats why i didn't use it.. Didn't feel like waiting for moser to get me the right one either.. which i'm assuming happened to him as well.

Re: caliper/rotor alignment (moser 9")

1996. I got the rear used, so I'm not sure about the washer. I didn't want to pull it all apart if I didn't need to.

I wasn't going to try the washers behind the rotor, thinking that's a really easy way to warp rotors if all the washers aren't the exact same thickness.

I wound up using a grinder to take 1/8" off the brake backing plate (1/8" off a 3/4" thick piece of steel won't weaken it much). Afterall, the caliper is only 1/4"-3/8" thick where it attaches anyway.
