built 4L60E question

I have a 94' Z28 with a built LT1. Just wanted to know how you guys with built 4L60E's like it and what it feels like. I am not happy with my stock tranny behind my motor. It is in good shape I just want to beef it up or switch to a 6-speed. The 6-speed is looking too expensive right now.

94' Z28, balanced stock crank, Scat forged I-beams, speed pro forged pistons, stock bore, comp 218/224 w/ .537/.545 lift, 1.57" intake valves with 2.02" intake valves, full port and polish job with shaped bowls, 1.6:1 roller rockers, beehive springs, Hooker equal- length headers with Hooker Catback, B+M shift enhancer.
