Broken transmission mount?

Hey guys, I was looking at an 88 Formula the other day (305 tpi with a 5 speed) and the guy told me that it had a broken trans mount. When I drove it the car was extremely jumpy, I guess you could say, between 1000-2000 rpm. Almost seemed like I let the clutch out too early or something, but it did it every time and I do know how to drive 5 speed so I know it wasn't me. Would that be a symptom of a broken trans mount or something else? Thanks a lot.

Re: Broken transmission mount?
